My take on the new development hype!

New blogging software, free webstat monitoring tools, easy to use invoice software! One might get confused with all the new software and development tools available these days.

First of all I would like to point you to the upcoming release of free css cart.
In my humble opinion this is one of the greater things that is going to be released in the upcoming month. Imagine not having to hire an expensive coder to program a webshop for you! Imagine just using this free program, integrating it in your website using stylesheets! That would be great wouldn`t it!

Although at this moment there is not much extra info I can give you I have signed up for the beta program so I will keep you posted on this lovely free program.

In my first blog post I would like to give my take on a subject that is taking the interweb by storm.

I will refer to it as the software hype

Everyday I browse blogs discovering new online invoice software, project enhancing software and state of the art webstat software. And I think this is great. I think this is great for a few reasons. The more programs we can choose from as web-developers the better. And the best thing about these programs is that they don`t cost a boatload of money to use. Most of these programs opt for monthly subscriptions ranging from 5 euros to 15 euros.

For me as a webdesigner/developer it`s great that I have alot of online tools and programs to choose from without having to pay hundreds of euros to use them.
In fact most of developers of these tools let you test-drive the program for a limited amount of time or offer a free "stripped" version of the software for free. This way you can work with it hands-on and decide whether is suits your needs. Instead of forking over hundreds or euros for a program that never really worked for you!

Where will this all end? I have no clue. But I am sure we will see much more developed this year.

Time to think up something on my own, get a good team together, and put it on the market. Who knows what might happen.
